school

school is busy and it is really really very busy. first day of school last week and i got a 1000words report to write.

and yes la! i made it. i din know that my result made me the overall top student for semester 1. and i received 3 modules prize for best performance in digital photomedia, fundamental for creative professionals and portfolio project 1.

im gonna work even harder and i want to be the top student again. off to do my animation clip. bb

in less than 48hrs, you will be seeing restless students reporting to ngee ann poly and flocking to their respective faculty for their lesson in the new semester!. haha! and yeah! school is reopening. im as excited as Adrian. hahah. this semester, im going to do my best, giving my best best shot at everything.

next, my target for the next semester. i want straight As and gpa of 4 for the next semester. No ADs or A+ nvm, i just want stright As. if possible, a few ADs la. hahah. i damn wan an AD for problem solving and programming module! thou im going for 3d option.

i have been spending alot this holiday. i tink what i spent is what i earn for my job. i brought

- crumpler fux deluxe bag or something like that
- nokia 2130 (for replacement for dropping my mum's phone)
- colored my hair. medium blond now.

argh. i need scholarship, thou i know scholarship is nt for me to spend. lol. but i will do my best to get NPAS.

alright. gotta prepare for school. and btw, mma people who are reading my blog. APT first assignment is going to kill us! for sure. look out!

ha, this is my cousin, peter. he arrived at singapore yesterday and he will be staying with me till next thursday before his school starts. he is living at yong peng, malaysia. he often came to stay with us once in a while because he say that singapore is a good place. he is only 13yrs old this year and he look much like a grown up kid.

ha, i find that i look much alike like him, don't u tink so? i have almost the same personality lik him and we enjoy doing the same thing together. not to mention, he is also a scout like me.

something sad happened to my house this week, we have lost our precious cat. do not wish to tok more, its very saddenly.

guess what, my ipod nano design won the top 20 merit award out of 700 plus entries (i wonder if it is true, as claimed by the organizer). haha. but however, i did not put much effort into the design. it is made using some of my previous work's concept and design. haha.

working is boring but knowing that every seconds i earn some bit of money, im determined to continue working.

brought a converse shoe and converse jacket yesterday using my own money that i have earned. i feel so happy to buy things with my own earned money instead of using my parent's money.

ahahha! everyone please help to hunt for a 8828 nissan dark red car with double L plate at the end of october. anyone who see that car please help me do some road block. lol. jk la. ahaha.

yesterday while im having my driving lesson, someone stop by the road and gave me a horn. haha. deneng, next time play racing la. hahah. why ur instructor always go toilet 1?

lol. im going to start my first admin job on monday. its a 2 weeks assignment and i will be working for cougar express logistic as temporary data entry assistant. hope i can earn some money before the school starts.

i have submitted by ipod nano design a few weeks ago. not very nicely done becos i do it in like 1hr? or a lil more? ha. and it is using mainly repeated concept from all of my work.

i just found a job and it is going to be data entry job. pay not sure yet but it is a 2 week short assignment so i will be able to finish by school reopen.

i have idea for noise singapore mtv competition but im just too lazy to shoot a stop-motion for its submission. maybe i will do it during the weekend. i wonder will the school assist me if i submit a proper storyboard and story outline for them. if not, i will have to do it myself at home. without those professional lightings.

loaming at night

just now went out with weelee till abt 2am plus and guess what. i was stuck outside on the street becos my sister latch the house door and i cant enter. went around bukit panjang alone.

wah. den finally at 6am, she called my hp and finally!! im able to get into the house. was so helpless outside and thanks to a friend who is there for me!

finally i can sleep now le! good nite evry1!

hey! haha. im gonna represent ICT in dragon boat regatta soon before the school starts and it is the first time im doing dragon boat. feel quite weird.

has been going out with weelee and junlong recently at night to talk alot. we hardly have anytime to catch up since we all went to different institution.

has nothing much happen recently in my life. school gonna start in like 3 weeks and i hope that i can maintain my result for the next semester.

portfolio

went to bugis 1 week ago to print some of the assignments that i have did in school and compile it into a portable portfolio. seems too early right? ha, this will came in handy for sudden job interviews and evaluations plus getting ready for the graduation show 3 years down the road (just in case i lost all my file)

ha, i still did not manage to get a job for the holiday and its like 1 whole month to the new semester. should i go to work? or should i just stay home, attend SC, play around or getting ready for the next semester?

i took part in quiet a few graphic design events and competition in town and hope i could win some $ there to cover up for the cost i have spent in the holidays for not working. alright, time for ipod nano design. and its v v v troublesome. haha. worth a try.

if anyone have job to intro, pls tag on my tagboard. willing to do anything except fast food. =)

whoo! my sis woke me up to check my result and yes!!! i'm happy with my result. i got an overall gpa of 3.79! 4 ADs, 1 A+, 1 B+ and 1 B!

gonna go back to sleep and then go to school ltr!.. haha. cya!

whoo. driving is fun but simply not easy! hahah. it requires alot alot of coordination and energy ar. but i love it!

im back and i have booked my traffic police driving practical test date and its on that XX mar 2008. hahaha. im not going to say the date in case some (ahbird) go and distrub. lol.

went for driving session the other day and wah, i forgot alot of thing and couldn't be able to drive smoothly anymore eh. haha.

tmr im going to be photographer for singapore duck race. cya again.

final theory is cleared, im having my first lesson as private candidate this coming thursday, haha, you seldom see people changing from school to private right? hah, im the one. im going to book my traffic police practical test date soon. i hope i can book on 22/2 .. haha. so that i can skip school with kim. (one thing to note, its on np feb exam week and lets pray hard that PSP paper will not be on that day!)

noise singapore called me and ask me to send in my animation work for some mtv contest and selection. haha. and my reply was "i do not have animation works" and they said u r a multimedia&animation student, but how come? ha, dun ask me. perhaps, i can do some now, with flash. but how? -.-

happy teachers day to all my teachers, lecturers and any other, driving instructors.. blah blah .. that have one taught me in one way or another. haha. teaching is a joy.

anyway, i went back to zhenghua sec with weelee today and the school really change alot. i havent been there since poly starts. not even for scouts. was way too busy. i really miss secondary time. we even went back to our classroom but too bad, we cant enter.

talked to alot of teacher and i realized , i am much older now.

haha, had to study for final theory test this coming monday. wish me luck ok?

haha. im at ngee ann alumni clubhouse now and i have nothing to do. i drafted out a logo design for my upcoming event, sms shootout. i shall only release and ask for comments when it is finalize. hahaha.

i wonder how come i have problem uploading pictures onli. the color are all off and i could hardly upload photos. ha

anyway. nothing much to update and a note to ICT SC discovery people if you have been reading my blogs.

meeting is on friday, 1pm at canteen1. instead of the clubhouse because SB is using it.

post-semester end

the semester has ended and every now and then, i always have flashback about what i did for the last semester. rushing for assignments, photoshoot and many more. i felt that all these time while working on projects and assignments that has really tight deadlines really trains me to be a good planner for myself.

went for final theory lesson yesterday and evaluation today and i failed it! .. im going for it tmr again and i hope i can clear it this time round! after which, im going to book my final theory date and hopefully clear it and then book my practical test date.

hope i can get my driving license by the end of next year april.

splash award marketplace and award ceremony has finally been over and yes yes yes! congrats to 1m03 mma team! hahaha. we made the class and school proud!

i won myself $120 hello! shop voucher, going to change my hp soon, and kim and jac won even more! we won 3/5 award for the splash award digital poster competition.

ha, now splash is done, i have just submitted like 6 photographs under photography section of noise singapore.

went back to school today for splash award presentation rehearsal and it was scary. ha. afterwhich, rushed back to sunshine to reprint our poster with kim and then went back to school to mount and wrap everything again.

guess what? im finished with mounting and all the necessary preparation for the splash award showcase this coming thursday, still excited about that. thanks to my mum for helping me with all the mounting.

i guess im ready for the preparation. tones of work to be done this holiday as well. the most important one are np sms shootout. i need sponsorship and anyone have suggestion where can i get?

reflection

ha. my 6th reflection, about my thoughts, haha, not forgetting the 1 - 5th is a compulsory 1 for fcp.

hmm. i hardly have time to sit down and really think what have i done since the start of the new school term in a new course till now. it was really a busy semester and i can say that i enjoy MMA! with projects, assignments, presentation, viva and many more.

being in a creative industry is not an easy job. the recognition of famous photographer and graphic designer don't come easy. just some thoughts about criticism struck me as i start to ponder how people i have noticed react to it. come on, if you cant' take criticisms, it is really saddening and sympathetic. ya, you can agree that saying is always easy than doing but if you really ponder about what it means and what can you benefit from it, i believe anyone up there can live happily and be a happier person ever after.

hello world and this shall be my first post after a long break from bloggin. ha, this is a brand new post in a brand new site. i have decided to start another blog as it can act as diary to me to post my life here. and also, being a multimedia student, it should be a disgrace not to have a blog.

well, yesterday was my birthday, had fun with my class during our last photomedia lesson on studio photography. it was great and we took quite alot of shot for our assignment on doing a magazine cover page. and also, it was such a surprise for me from the student council and my class.

alright, holidays is coming and i had a great time doing a course that i like. i guess multimedia & animation is really the course for me than biomedical science. it is where i know i can do well and where my passion and interests lies.

oh ya, i am kinda excited about the splash award marketplace this coming wednesday and i am really happy that my masterpiece is one of the finalist. yeah! it is truely a great achievement for me.

haha, plan for the holidays? oh, ha, i am currently sourcing for freelance photographer and graphic design work and am compiling my portfolio now, with all the work i have done for this semester. i hope i could get a job and gain more exposure.
